Sorry, these pass few weeks have been ran on spare batteries.. Im sure it has been for you too.. cuz if im not the one complaining about yet 'another project meeting' .. its the random undergraduate walking behind me.. But you know what? Everything ends on friday. Yes even that FREAKIN 10 page Personality report that perhaps some of you are battling right now as well.

I wanna go to a Halloween party. I know. That came from nowhere. Poor linkage and presentation of ideas. My mind's a wreck. But it's what's driving me through October.

The *Cutest* Mooncake I've Ever Received

Isn't he the sweetest thing??! He's about the size of my palm. I of course couldn't bear to eat it.. so instead, i named it. His name is Wishy-Washy and he's been sitting here keeping me company while i ate all the other mooncakes since Happy Mooncake Day. Sadly, it's about time i let Wishy-Washy go.. and the least i could do was to take a picture of my mooncake date before 'litterally dumping' him..

I want to fall madly in love with my projects and readings.
I want to be obessesed with studying for my exams.
I want to marry my love for studying.

So that we'll be together for all eternity,
and that every waking moment will be spent blissfully doing extravagant mindmaps.
So that i can't stop thinking about what to write on my essays.
So that i lust after mindblowing concepts and theories.
So that i can't wait for the next time i get use SPSS.
So that studying is all i ever want to do.

* * * S U R P R I S E ! * * *

Hehe.

OKok im very aware that my last entry is dated september 9th.. but before you guys complain anymore lemme show u this:

Cool cat huh? hehe.. According to aaron, he says "Dammit you piece of shiiiiiiit."

Anyways.. so since we're all messed up already, lets blog backwards.. starting from today:

Today is Sunday. Woke up bright and early at 11:30am and made my way to this korean kid's house. Lets call him... 'Kim Jung Il' (for his own protection).

Well he needs English tuition; and no one else has the guts to handle him. Its a good thing i only see this one once a week. I'll show you the rest of the future korean leaders another time.

On Saturday, I had tuition in the morning too, with two other korean boys. Pictures another time.. Now these are relatively better behaved. However, im usually very sleepy when i teach them on saturday mornings. Especially when its a post-'watch reverie at barcelona'-saturday morning (like it was). So what do these kids do when im falling asleep on their homework? They take out these little rubber halloween masks they have and put a new one on everytime i wake up. Now remember, i said they were good kids, so as long as they still do their work. I let them wear the scary masks. It kinda keeps me awake too.

After tuition, I packed my sunscreen, waterbottle, beachtowel, shades and grp dynamics textbook and headed down for an intellectually enhancing tanning session by the pool that i ought to take more advantage of. And it was rather productive. Finished one chapter. With little naps and swims sandwiched in between :) Followed by a sauna session. Now tanning, studying and swimming solo is all very ok.. but theres something eerie abt going in the sauna room alone.. like what if i fainted and no one knew till 3 days later or something?!! (nah, actually with my parents, they'll find me in 3 hrs.. but still.) And what if that little wooden room collapses dues to some unforseen reclaimed land instability?! *shudders* So i get out after i actively finish splashing the whole bucket of water on the burner thing. I went back upstairs, washed up, and watched Sin City.. and boy did that yellow freak scare the jeepers outta me. But even still, it was awesome.. i was glued.

I still think the yellow freak is lurking ard somewhere near me.. like in the backseat of the car or behind my curtains or something.. :(

If you're my aquaintance and 'heard' frm somewhere that I 'look' Chinese but 'fake' an accent or something, I will explain now (though it's never once and for all): I'm an American born Chinese, my parents are Hongkongers. I was born in Chicago, raised in Hongkong till I was 5, moved to Boca Raton, Florida and stayed till I was 11, moved to Trophy Club, Texas and stayed till i was 13, moved to Singapore and have stayed there since. Throughout my preschool-univeristy life i have attended 13 schools so far. Was it tough? did it make me bitter? I dont think so, ask any of my friends.. or try and find someone who hates me.. *wink*
