finally on the net again!

Well well.. update time:

Right after i came back from hongkong on mon i realised that i have no more work no wake up for on tues forevermore. So i woke up the next morning and joined Arts camp as a councillor.. along with:

im in some sleazy and smoky cybercafe in china now.. the cheap ciggy's are killing my throat and eyes and everything on the screen's in chinese.. but its better than nothing.. i wanna come back to singapore now! i've finished my hk shopping bought more than enough stuff and i wanna come home! and untill i get to go to the hot springs tmr, china sucks! *cry cry cry* i wanna go home... *pout* i miss shane!! and baby, if ur reading, i just had this baked seafood rice thing for dinner and it was loaded with really yummy olives.. actually i was never crazy abt olives.. but u are.. so i ate them like you would.. *hug*

ooh and everyone... u've gotta buy this weekends NEW PAPER.. well ok, to save ur money, flip thru to see if they published the ABC girls story first, then buy.. cuz *ahem ahem* is gonna be inside! ( yes i did a long-distance telephone interview for that just yesterday.. just like real celebs.. muahahaha... thanks melissa *wink*)

I SCRAPED through doors and DIVED into the train this morning.

Yup.. im my heels, working skirt and blouse.. my handbag almost got caught and left outside the train haha.. Was alighting my bus at Kallang MRT and saw my train approaching upstairs..

So i RAN.

Up the stairs.. pass the ticket counter.. up the escalator.. saw the 'doors closing' and made a run for it.. almost cartwheeling in.

It must've been adrenaline cuz i barely thought twice in the entire process.. and when i managed to secure myself in the cabin (with only the strap of my bag that i had to tug outta the door) some people in the train started clapping.. THAT was when 'EMBARESSMENT' finally caught up with me.

This auntie closest to me goes "Wah.. hen(3) wei(1) xian(3) ah!" (very dangerous!)

This man on my other side just kept looking at me - smiling, clicking his tongue and shaking his head in disbelief.

And all I had to say was: "I'm VERY late."

....ON A SAFER NOTE.... *whew*

Had lunch with Gareth today cuz.. he's back from London!
Been friends since quite a long way back.. (back when BOTH of us looked NERDY, so go figure) And while having lunch at the food court at Raffles City.. we ventured the idea of setting up a food court in London.. did you know that they dont even HAVE this concept there?? I mean US has it so I'm wondering what's keeping the Brits.. How WRONG can it be??

ANYWAY.. it's Shane's (band's) audition at Wala wala tmr (Wed) at 9:30pm! Anyone wants to go with me? =)

"Owwwuch..."

That't right, im hurt.. Went to the new water park Wild Wild Wet at Pasir Ris with Shane yesterday.. dont get me wrong, we had alota fun.. with the
fake-o waves,
the winding water slides,
the 'dropping' water slides,
the jacuzzi (shane's fave),
the fake-o river (where i fell asleep),
the kiddy spraying stations...

it was great, still clean and all since its new, except the place kinda sucks money...

For all who wanna go:

floaty tubes that EVERYONE has so ur gonna want ~ $8 ($5 deposit)
riding a tsunami wave with your boyfriend ~ priceless

so BACK to why im in PAIN.

Well it was the first ride we went for.. the 'dropping' water slide. Basically, it's a 2-seater float that lets u drop/slide down abt 2-3 storeys at abt a 100 degree angle on a huge u-shape plastic plane and lets u go up and down like an X-games skateboarder.. Shane 'booked' the back seat when there were still like 6 other people in front of us in the queue.. his reason? 'ladies first' .. haha, thanks anyway.. well it was during the drop that i couldnt help but had my head jerked back really abruptly.. at first only the back of my neck hurt, but tdy the entire front of my neck hurt too.. *pout* think i pulled some muscles there..

I was at the ICA building over at Lavender this morning.. to transfer my re-entry permit so that i can 're-enter' singapore after i leave for HONGKONG next thursday *harharhar*..

Then as i was sitting there.. waiting for my thing to be done.. messaging shane.. Christopher Lee walks in! haha (ok, for those of you who think he's just 'not cute at all'.. yeah well, 'WHATEVER' to you too. heh) He's like one of the only local actors that i think deserves cooing over.. haha

anyways, he just walked over to the counter got some forms, sat down in front of me and started filling em out.. but he looked kinda like a bmt guy though.. shaved head and berms, sling bag across his chest.. oh well, his face just looks like the one in the photo (duh).. i got what i needed and left..

If you're my aquaintance and 'heard' frm somewhere that I 'look' Chinese but 'fake' an accent or something, I will explain now (though it's never once and for all): I'm an American born Chinese, my parents are Hongkongers. I was born in Chicago, raised in Hongkong till I was 5, moved to Boca Raton, Florida and stayed till I was 11, moved to Trophy Club, Texas and stayed till i was 13, moved to Singapore and have stayed there since. Throughout my preschool-univeristy life i have attended 13 schools so far. Was it tough? did it make me bitter? I dont think so, ask any of my friends.. or try and find someone who hates me.. *wink*
