hey aaron!! this entry is dedicated to you.. NOT cuz i owe it to you.. but because i want you to know that you're worth it =) yeah i know u probably think i forgot abt you lately.. that im too busy to care or reply messages, and that i've moved on and found new friends.. Well the busy part is true.. schools is insanely hectic.. i hardly have time for myself.. ( like the other day they made us run to west coast park at 10pm and blindfolded us for like 2 hours to play dumb games.. din get to go back to my room till 2/3 am..) but i still think abt you alot *grin* wondering what u might be doing and stuff.. but im just to 'exhausted' to msg.. and everytime i get back to my room its pretty late so i dont know if i should call..

anyways.. a quick update on stuff..
since the last time i blogged, i've....

joined nus taekwondo.. lotsa fun
became my a-block's touch rugby captain
lost my favourite pair of earrings and i cant buy them back
interviewed for and joined NUSSU Public Relations Unit
quit nus taekwondo .. really no time
went for Arts Bash 2 at centro
got screwed by my parents
seriously tried sitting down and reading my "inside ur PC" textbook
bruised both my forearms during volleyball training.. *yes..ouch.*
set my next interview to become an nus deejay
.. and was told just now abt something kinda disturbing.. hmm

yup...

i think this is my first post as a resident NUS student.. hehe.. yeah using the com lab..
im zhaoing both my orientations cuz, well simply im just sick of em.. after so many orientations.. u realize that all the games are the same, all the names are the same and all the faces are just as much.. well, the same.. save a couple.. *hehe*

quite happy with my hostel room.. its really prettier than i expected.. hehe got new pink stripy bedsheets.. pink ikea dustbin.. pink toiletries basket.. and hmm.. alota free tshirts.. i think im gonna get a new bolster soon too..

my friend said something quite true the other day.. school hasnt even started yet but my circle of friends have morphed and grown quite alot... not that i've ditched my old friends lah!! ( i see that look on ur face ser.. heheh i still love you!) but im quite glad that i've a set of new friends to start the year off with..
well thats enough for now i think..

i am so fuckin pissed.. my parents FORBID me from taking the biology module i want...

i mean u have truckloads of bengs and lians on the streets whose parents are begging for them to study, and u have me: a positive and eager student who actually wants to learn more abt a (rather decent) subject that i've had interest in since age 12... i mean i thot thats what uni was all abt.. exploring things that u've always wondered abt.. chasing ur passions and studying what interests u... but NOOOO they make a big fuss outta it.. please man... they just HAD to pick on something abt my decisions and declare it wrong! i knew it!! its not like NUS is the most flexible sys in the world to start with either!

and now guess what i gotta take? my 'choices granted' to me:

If you're my aquaintance and 'heard' frm somewhere that I 'look' Chinese but 'fake' an accent or something, I will explain now (though it's never once and for all): I'm an American born Chinese, my parents are Hongkongers. I was born in Chicago, raised in Hongkong till I was 5, moved to Boca Raton, Florida and stayed till I was 11, moved to Trophy Club, Texas and stayed till i was 13, moved to Singapore and have stayed there since. Throughout my preschool-univeristy life i have attended 13 schools so far. Was it tough? did it make me bitter? I dont think so, ask any of my friends.. or try and find someone who hates me.. *wink*
